Book Bag Policy
Posted On:
Tuesday, July 10, 2018

Dear Parents,

Pierce County Schools has not changed our current book bag policy for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. Students will not be required to bring clear or see-through book bags to school. We are aware that other school systems have recently implemented this policy. While we will continue to explore and consider safety enhancements and improvements for our students and staff, we currently have no plans to mandate clear or see-through book bags. We want to provide you this information as you make preparations for the start of school.

Dr. Kevin Smith

Superintendent
